Title: Arthur parameters, Theta Correspondence and Period Integrals 

Abstract: We give a brief overview of the theory of theta correspondence and then show
how it manifests in the Arthur parameter attached to an irreducible cuspidal
representation of a symplectic group.  We also propose a refinement in terms of period
integrals.
